Mumbai : To avoid using the common toilet and bathroom, Bollywood star Shahrukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan who has been lodged in Arthur Road jail for his alleged association with illegal drugs has stopped having food, water and bathing.

The NCB office has kept Bible, Quran Sharif and Bhagavad Gita in Hindi and Urdu languages in the jail library. The other counsellors are from different religions have been giving him life lessons and taught him the path of truth.

Aryan who has been shifted to a special barrack for security reasons is not adjusting to jail conditions.

The jail staff is concerned about his health and hygiene since he has not eaten or drank water to avoid using the restrooms. He is not taking a shower. As per covid measures the prisoners cannot meet people including family members instead make video calls twice or thrice a month.

The NCB arrested Aryan on October 2 in a raid on a Mumbai to Goa bound cruise. He was sent to 14-day judicial custody on October 7 and lodged in Arthur Road jail since October 8. His 14-day custody would end on October 20.
