Vijayapur : Vijayapur BJP MLA Basangouda Patil Yatnal who on Thursday said he was approached with the chief minister post for Rs 2,500 crore by BJP leaders, took a ‘U’ turn on Saturday saying ‘No chief minister post are for auction in the regime of Modi.’

Speaking to news persons here he said until Modi is there no bribery for any post was not possible in the party. He clarified that his ‘Rs 2,500’ remark was a casual which never if exist in BJP.

He said Basavaraj Bommai and Yeddyurappa bacame the chief ministers wuthout paying a single rupee to anyone. However, he agreed that that there are a few who meet the front line leaders with offers of ministers if given the money.

He said state Congress chief DK Shivakumar has worried and scared about him that he may use the bulldozers to his illegally earned properties if became the minister.
