: A PU college lecturer was brutally murdered on a road by a gang at Devadurga town on Friday.

59-year-old Manappa Gopalpur who was a lecturer at Womens’ PU college at Devadurga was waylaid by a gang and killed him by putting a stone of his head.

Lecturer Gopalpur was going back after completion of examination duty. The reason to murder him is yet to ascertain.

The Surapur police are investigating the case.
