Belagavi North BJP MLA Anil Benake has warned the internationally known construction agency ” L and T” officials who have been authorised to supply water to Belagavi, of tying them to the trees and beating them if they not supplied water uninterrupted.

Benake representing the constituency first time held s meeting with the officials at the administrative office of the corporation on Monday said he has hundreds of complaints regarding water supply and warned the officials of tying to the trees and beating if the water supplying system was not corrected.

He said he has received complaints that many localities not supplied water since 8 to 10 days.

MLA Benake had prounced the same warning to PWD officials when an elderly person fell and died in a underground under completion gutter on the entrance of the central bus stand about a year.

After the incident gone virus, Benake visited the spot and warned the above threat.
