Haveri : A person opened fire with his revolver on a person while watching Kannada movie KGF-2 at Rajashree theater at Shiggavi town on Tuesday night. An unknown person watching the night show movie opened three rounds on a person over the quarrel brokeout for touching each others legs.

Person injured has been identified as Vasantkumar Shivapur. The 27-year-old received bullets to stomach and a led. Fortunately another bullet missed him. The accused opened fire with short distance of about 2 to 3 feet.

Vasantkumar rushed immediately to government hospital at Shiggavi and later to KIMS at Hubballi.

Haveri SP Hanumantraya, Additional SP Vijaykumar visited the theater and inspected the site.
