The by-election to a director post of Belagavi District Cooperative Credit (BDCC) Bank will be held in the head office of the bank, situated near central bus stand at 4pm on Saturday.

The post was vacate over the death of Director Ashok Avvakannavar who died four month ago. Ten directors, one each from ten taluks of the district will vote in the election.

Four including a son of late Director Ashok Avvakanavar, Patesimha Jagapat from Ramdurg, Ravindra Yaligar from Munavalli and Sanju Avakanavar from Athani are in the fry. Counting of votes and results will be announced soon after the completion of the time of election.
