Following allegations of demand for bribe to install electric transformers and to give new connection from HESCOM division at Raibag in Belagavi district, the Anti Corruption Bureau raided the offices and collected many important files.

The teams of about ten officials at a time raided the offices of Executive Engineer, Assistant Executive Engineer and branch offices and got some documents.

The raids were conducted on the direction of Belagavi ACB SP Nemagoudar, DySP Karunakar Shetty and Inspectors from Belagavi, Dharwad, Gadag and Bagalkot led the teams.
