The Delhi Police on Saturday, Aug 7, traced a factory that was involved in manufacturing and selling of counterfeit Surf Excel washing powder. Mukesh Garg who was running the factory illegally has been arrested by the police.

The probe was initiated after a complaint that was lodged by Rajesh Kumar, representing Assiduous Consulting India Limited, regarding manufacturing of counterfeit Surf Excel washing powder in outer north districts of Delhi.

On receipt of this complaint, local intelligence was developed and the facts of the complaint were ascertained.

The team conducted raid in the factory being run in godown situated in Delhi’s Kureni village.
