The state govt. has got the recognition to the Land Reform Amendment Act in between oppose of the Congress leaders.

The Land Reform Amendment Bill by the Central Govt. is being severely opposed all over the India. The same way it was being opposed in the state as the state govt. was trying to implement the act. In between all the alleges the Revenue Minister R Ashok proposed the Land Reform Amendment Bill and has received the recognition. According the law anyone can purchase the land from now onwards. Some of the rules implemented are like as followed, the lands purchased at the irrigation areas should be used for agriculture, the family consisting of 5 members can purchase up to 54 acres of land, and the family exceeding 5 members can purchase up to 108 acres of land. The previous limits of the 25L yearly income to purchase land has been withdrawn.
