At the Wednesday session the Karnataka BJP Govt. said it had spent no less than Rs 4,200 crore since March till August on its fight against the pandemic Corona.

Replying to alleges of the oppositions as there is 2,300 crore misappropriation the Medical Education Minister said the total expenditure in the fight is 4,200 crore which has been spent by 15 departments. The minister said the maximum amount of expenditure has been used by the health and family welfare department with Rs 1,142 crore while his department, medical education has spent Rs 76 crore till date.

The minister reported about the other departments who have spent the respective amount and said the govt. is making its best efforts to get control over the spread of the pandemic.
