Acting on specific information the Belagavi CCB police arrested Pavan Kakatkar from Majagavi who allegedly betting from people during the ongoing IPL Cricket matches.

He was said to be engaged in betting from people during the match between Chennai Superkings and Punjab Kings on Sunday.

Cash of Rs 15,500, a cellphone and a paper on which the details about the betting for the match were written were recovered from Kakatkar.

CCB police have registered a case against Kakatkar with Udyambhag police.
