K’taka Home Minister Gets Driving Licence After Accident

Bengaluru : Karnataka Home Minister Araga Jnanedra took 2-wheeler driving licence after meeting a small accident.

Addressing the school children at an interaction organised by the Bengaluru traffic police, he said many years he ride his two-wheeler without licence. One day a small accident occurred in which a small girl fell before his bike and sustained minor injuries that made him to get licence from the transport department.

Recalled about the accident, he said one hot afternoon his was riding the bike and his palms were sweat. The handle of the bike were slipped off hands, by then a girl walking holding the hands of a woman got freed its hand and accidentally fell down in front of his bike.

He said he took the girl to a hospital, where she recovered and that day he decided to get a driving licence. Until then, he said had ridden the two-wheeler without licence for years.

The first-time MLA Jnandra, representing Thirthahalli has appealed vehicles users to attend to accident victims instead of fleeing the scene.
