Kudala Sangama should become a centre for spreading awareness about Basava Philosophy apart from attracting the people. It should be developed with these objectives in mind, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai instructed the officials today.

The proposed Museum at Kudala Sangama should showcase Basavanna’s life, his philosophy and information about his contemporary Sharanas using modern technology, Bommai said, and asked the officials to appoint a highly competent Curator for the Museum. He wanted the first phase of the project to be completed by May next year.

The Chief Minister, who chaired a meeting of Kudala Sangama Development Authority, instructed the officials to submit revised estimates for the Basava International Centre according to the revised architectural design for approval.

Ministers Govind Karjol, Murugesh Nirani and the legislators of the region were also present.
