Bagalkote : Adding files to the Karnataka Civil Works Contractors allegations that they must give commission to politicians and officials to get sanctioned the work done amount, a Lingayat swamyalso said “Mutts must give 30% of the allotted funds as commission to the elected representatives and officials.As the corruption practice in bureaucracy in Karnataka has became the “Talk of Nation,” now a days after the death of civil works contractor Santosh Patil, a Lingayat swamy from north Karnataka also levelled such an alligation stating that the “government has not spared the Mutts from which it is collecting bribe in the name of commission from the grant allotted.”

Shirahatti Jagadguru Fakeera Dingaleshwara Swamiji has accused that the corruption in the state has reached such a level where even the grant allotted for the Matts requires a 30% commission to be given before their release.

Speaking at the concluding programme of the Krishna-Mahadayi-Navali Sankalpa Yatre organised by the Uttara Karnataka Swabhimani Vedike at Badangadi in Bilagi Taluk on Sunday night, the Swamiji said, “Only after having taken a percentage from the grants allotted to the Matts, do any of the construction works begins. Otherwise it doesn’t “, he expressed his sadness.

“We have foolish governments coming in now. Only if the state’s farmers run a protest modelled after the farmers’ protest in North India which continued without them admitting defeat to deaths and injuries, only then will we get food. Otherwise, we will not get anything. We have to become very clever”, Fakeera Dingaleshwara Swamiji urged the farmers.
