People from the African continent protesting in front of JC Nagar police station at Bengaluru to protest against the death of a Nigerian national who died at police custody on Tuesday, Aug 2.

Hundreds of people protesting allegedly manhandled police in a verbal clash which made the police disperse the mob by mild caning.

A Nigerian was arrested with 5 gram MDM narcotics and was inquired about his alleged link with the drug peddlers. Police said they had admitted him to the hospital as he complained about his health and he breathed his last at the hospital.
