On November 2^nd a shootout at the Kannal Cross on the Mahadev Bhairgond a Congress leader had took place. While 1 co traveler was dead on the spot, the driver of Mahadev succumbed to the death at hospital.

The case had been registered at Vijaypur Police Station and the IGP himself had visited the spot. The Police after the registration of the case have been restlessly resolving the case. As per the Vijaypur SP Anupam Agarwal, in the same regards today two more accusers namely Mahesh Arjun Salunke and Babu Ningangouda Biradar have been arrested by the Police.

The officials have detained an auto-rickshaw a mobile phone and a sword that had been used at the time of attack.
