The police arrested three among the six people who allegedly raped an Uttar Pradesh based Medical student and hunt to trace other accused.

Based on the mobile tower the police traced the location of the accused. The information was added that the accused who were in drunken state got video recorded of they raping the girl and demanded for Rs 3 lakh from the girl and the boy not to make it open.

The girl with her a male friend been to the hill and from they had planned to go to Lalitadripur when they were waylaid by the gang. The boy was beaten and the girl was dragged into isolate place and raped allegedly on the evening of Aug 24.

The girl is undergoing treatment at the government hospital at Maisuru.
