At two various places of Vijaypur dist. the incident of brutally murdering the aged ones  has been noticed.

At Alur village of Indi taluk of Vijaypur Dist. an aged person namely Vithoba Parasappa Salotagi has been brutally murdered the reason behind the murder and the accusers are yet to be found. The Police officials have visited the crime spot and are investigating whereas a case has been registered at the Indi Rural Police Station.

The another murder has taken place at Domanal village of Vijaypur where an aged person named Erappa Toravi has been murdered by attacking with lethal weapons while sitting on a chair. It is reported as the motif of the murder by three accusers is an old hostility. A case regarding this incident has been registered at the Vijaypur Rural Police Station.
